The Lanes of Life
There’s nothing wrong with the slow lane, it’s steady, safe, and keeps you in control. But stay there too long and you’ll watch everyone else pass you by. The fast lane feels good, flying forward, passing those who slow you down, burning through the miles. But that speed comes at a cost; you'll burn too much fuel, you’ll break down before the finish line.
Life isn’t meant to be lived in one lane. Every man needs to move. Sometimes you ease back, conserve your strength, hold steady, and wait for your moment. Other times you step on the gas, push past, prove to yourself that you can. But never live only in one lane, because the man who never changes pace is the man who never grows, and life will leave him behind. Shift when you must, hold steady when you should, but above all- keep moving forward. Always forward.
